Posterior Cortical Cataract
Symptoms include blurry vision, glare, and halos. Senile cataract is associated with older age and typical treatment is cataract surgery which involves insertion of an intraocular lens implant.
Neovascularisation of the Iris (NVI)
Typically presents with raised intraocular pressure and can be a result of diabetic eye disease, central retinal vein occlusion or ocular ischaemic syndrome.
Corneal Foreign Body (Metal)
A small metallic foreign body embedded on the surface of the cornea due to an accident associated with grinding metal. The foreign body needs to be removed with a needle or burr.
Tele-Retinal Examination
A live retinal examination can be performed by a clinician with a mobile ophthalmoscope or a mobile retinal imaging adapter.
Mobile ophthalmoscopes and fundus imaging devices can be purchased from oDocs Eye Care by clicking the link below.
